아이키도 삼성당이 제공하는 오늘의 영상은 '우치다 타츠루 선생 강연 후기'입니다.

앞서 게시판에 글을 올린 바 있지만, 영상을 처음 보시는 분들을 위해 간략히 배경을 설명드리겠습니다.

우치다 타츠루(内田樹, Tatsuru Uchida) 교수는 아이키도 7단의 고단자이자 '무도가로서의 지식인'입니다. 그의 저서는 200여 권에 달하며, 한국에는 50여 권이 번역되어 있습니다. 새롭게 번역된 『목표는 천하무적』(원제: 무도적 사고), 『용기론』의 출간 기념으로 5월 28일 LG아트센터 서울에서 그의 강연이 열렸습니다.

강연 후 Q&A 시간에는 기자 외에 일반인 질문자 두 명(한국인 1명, 일본인 1명)만이 허락되었는데, 열심히 손을 든 끝에 선정되었습니다. 한국에서 '무도가로서의 지식인'으로 우치다 교수를 찾는 사람은 드물기 때문에, 아이키도 후학으로서 꼭 질문을 드리고 싶었습니다.

제가 던진 질문은 다음과 같습니다: "자유를 얻는 것이 무도의 목표라면, 왜 '카타'라는 틀을 통해 그 자유에 접근하려 하는가?"

다행히 선생님께서는 이 질문을 "무도가로서의 지식인에게 본질적으로 중요한 질문"이라며 칭찬해 주셨고, 진심 어린 답변을 직접 들을 수 있었습니다.

준비해 간 책에 사인도 받고, 작은 도장 기념품도 전해드렸습니다. 기억에 오래 남을 귀한 자리였으며, 감사의 마음과 추가 질문을 담은 메일도 보냈습니다.

先にご案内板に投稿しましたが、映像を初めてご覧になる方のために、簡単に背景をご説明いたします。

内田樹(うちだ たつる, Tatsuru Uchida)教授は合気道七段の高段者であり、「武道家としての知識人」です。その著書は200冊余りに達し、韓国には50冊余りが翻訳されています。新たに翻訳された『目標は天下無敵』(原題：武道的思考)、『勇気論』の出版記念として、5月28日にLGアートセンターソウルでその講演が開催されました。

講演後のQ&Aタイムには、記者以外に一般人質問者2名（韓国人1名、日本人1名）のみが許可されましたが、一生懸命手を挙げた末に選ばれました。韓国で「武道家としての知識人」として内田教授を求める人は珍しいため、合気道の後学として是非とも質問をしたかったのです。

私が投げかけた質問は以下の通りです： 「自在を得ることが武道の目標であるならば、なぜ『形』という型を通してその自在にアプローチしようとするのか？」

幸い、先生はこの質問を「武道家としての知識人にとって本質的に重要な質問」として褒めてくださり、真心のこもった回答を直接聞くことができました。

用意していった本にサインもいただき、小さな印章の記念品もお渡ししました。記憶に長く残る貴重な席であり、感謝の気持ちと追加質問を込めたメールもお送りしました。

Although I previously posted about this on our bulletin board, I'd like to briefly explain the background for those viewing the video for the first time.

Professor Tatsuru Uchida (内田樹) is a 7th dan aikido practitioner and an "intellectual as a martial artist." He has written over 200 books, with about 50 translated into Korean. His lecture was held at LG Arts Center Seoul on May 28th to commemorate the publication of his newly translated works "The Goal is Invincibility" (original title: Martial Arts Thinking) and "Theory of Courage."

During the Q&A session after the lecture, only two general audience members (one Korean, one Japanese) were allowed to ask questions besides journalists. I was selected after eagerly raising my hand. Since there are few people in Korea who seek Professor Uchida as an "intellectual as a martial artist," I really wanted to ask him a question as a student of aikido.

The question I posed was: "If attaining freedom is the goal of martial arts, why do we approach that freedom through the framework of 'kata' (forms)?"

Fortunately, the professor praised this question as "essentially important for an intellectual as a martial artist" and I was able to hear his heartfelt response directly.

I also received his autograph on a book I had prepared and presented him with a small seal as a gift. It was a precious occasion that will remain in my memory for a long time, and I also sent him an email expressing my gratitude and additional questions.
