Why do martial artists swing heavy objects?

I think martial arts training follows a different direction from typical weight training.
I believe the difference lies in the “position of the weight.”
Weight training deals with weight close to the body, while martial arts deals with weight farther away from the body, in my view.
Therefore, I think martial arts require training to control centrifugal force and full-body coordination.
Heavy bokken, Indian clubs, macebells and kettlebells are tools that, in my opinion, directly create this difference.
