Linking Jojutsu and Taijutsu
This workshop will examine how maai, timing, and counters in jojutsu connect to taijutsu.

Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026
Time: 1:00-3:30 PM
Venue: Aikido Samsungdang, Incheon
Instructor: Sung Ju-hwan, Dojo-cho
5th Dan, Aikikai
2. Participants
Open to participants regardless of affiliation.
Both Aikido practitioners and non-Aikido practitioners are welcome.
3. Training Content
Session 1 1:00-2:15 PM
Jojutsu
Jo 6, 8, 13, and 31
Counter kata for Jo 31
Paired practice
Maai, timing, and counters
Break 2:15-2:30 PM
Session 2 2:30-3:30 PM
Jo-nage
Applying the points covered in Session 1
Basic jo-nage kata
Connection to taijutsu

Fee: KRW 20,000
Capacity: 10 participants
