Yesterday (March 8), we held a diploma awarding ceremony for members who successfully passed the Dan promotion examination in December, presenting the Aikikai diplomas issued by the Doshu.

A total of four members received their diplomas on this occasion: one Sandan (3rd Dan), two Nidan (2nd Dan), and one Shodan (1st Dan).

KAU follows the goals and vision of the Aikikai Foundation and is committed to promoting and expanding the practice of standard Aikido in accordance with the principles of Hombu Dojo.

Accordingly, our Dan examinations are conducted in accordance with the examination requirements established by Aikikai Hombu Dojo.

While respecting the unique character of each dojo, we follow the technical standards and examination criteria of Hombu. In this way, we are steadily building a foundation where practitioners can train in standard Aikido at any dojo.

After the diploma ceremony, we held a joint training session.

Although participants differ in age, gender, and profession, everyone came together through Aikido and shared an enjoyable training session.

Once again, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to those who were promoted, and we would also like to express our sincere appreciation to all the members who took the time on their Sunday to join us.
